Calculate Trading Spreads & Fees
To calculate the cost for the IC market standard account spread, multiply the spread by the pip cost and the lots traded. You can trade three types of lot sizes, including:
- Micro-lots: 1000 lots base currency
- Mini-lots: 10,000 lots base currency
- Standard-lots: lots base currency
For example, if your standard lot pip cost is $10, then the micro-lot pip cost will only be $0.10 spread. IC Markets adds 1 pip cost to the spread for many forex pairs. Using this calculation, you can determine the spread cost.
Does IC Markets Add Spread On Entry Or Exit?
The IC Markets spread can be added on the entry or exit of the trade. Or, this spread is split between the bid and ask price. Effectively, you pay the spread 50% upon entry and 50% upon exit of the trade.
Confirmed: IC Markets adds the spread on Entry as per the customer support team.
